There is a need in the S1 to S4 grades (grade 7 to 10) to have access to learning science in a lab setting. Currently they are being taught the theory in biology, chemistry and physics, but since they do not have access to lab equipment, they miss out on this part of the curriculum.

When students write their government exams each year, they are at a disadvantage when completing the lab portion of the exams, as they lack experience with this type of learning.
When we met with the science teachers during our last visit, we were able to ascertain from them the basic needs to get a simple lab started. It is not much different from what you might expect – you may remember from your high school days in science – beakers, Bunsen burners, magnifying glasses etc.
We are seeking funding to start such a lab.
